Europe is filled with many people, countries, cultures, and historical places. Each year European countries receive millions of tourists and many people move there altogether. Everyone loves a European, because they are generally friendly, and have nice voices.
Italy is a popular destination for those traveling to Europe. Many people flock to the Vatican City to see the historical religious areas. The Vatican is a very small area, and its residents total less than 1,000! That’s an impressively tiny population for such an incredible place. Most people do not realize that Vatican City is often considered a country of its own.
Europe is massive. There is a lot of debates on where it begins and where it ends. Different scholars believe different things, but its not a lie that Europe has over 700 million residents. That is more than the United States and Mexico combined. Europe has everything to please anyone, literally. Travelers neglect that Europe is not just a shopping and monument attraction. It has much more to offer its residents and visitors.
Sweden was the first country in Europe to start a census of its citizens. It began counting them in the 1400s, can you imagine what that would be like without a computer? Slavery was prevalent in Europe, but the Republic of Dubrovnic ended it before any other country did. That was the first step in a revolution for Europeans.
On a poll taken it was found that 10 European countries were the most charitable in the entire world. That is an impressive fact, especially since no other continent can claim that role! Europe has also had its share of wars and battles and blood shed. Even after all of the wars that have taken place on European soil, it still remains one of the kindest and most friendly places. It is a fact that Europe is as strong as it is beautiful, and people often forget all that its nations has gone through over the centuries. Europe once had 70 different countries than it did now, but they have disappeared and melded into all of its other nations since. Imagine how hard geography would be if they still existed!
The industrial revolution changed the course of everyone’s future. Great Britain took the first step into the industrial revolution, and we have not looked back since. That is a very important role that Great Britain took on for us!

Upon the discovery of the Niagara Falls, there has been a close relationship between the surrounding area and the effects of humans. With this close interaction and awe in what nature has created, many interesting facts have emerged that will nicely supplement a visit to the area.
A “free” type of energy is harnessed from the Niagara Falls that most are unaware of. The powerful waters in the river are taken advantage of, as they move turbines that can power electricity to the surrounding neighborhood. There have been no end to daredevils trying to make a name for themselves with the Niagara Falls. Fashion is always evolving based on the trends of the past and what is currently affecting the youth of the current generation. Both females and males alike have seen so much improvement in fashion over the past decades that even seeing someone from a century ago would yield quite outlandish looks.
The 1920’s were an important stage for women, who saw a fashion revolution with the “flapper” style of clothing. This type of clothing made women more bold, daring, and the “flapper” look overall was associated with the energetic “go getter” types that were emerging as equals to men. Women also enjoyed becoming more socially adept by drinking and smoking in public without shame.
We mark the early 1940’s as nearing the end of World War II. Although most of the decade was spend out of war, it was known for its conservative lifestyle and fashion statements. Men would wear two-piece suits that saved on clothing materials, while women had to restrict themselves to basic uniforms for use in factories and places of work while the men were away.
The next big mark in the fashion industry came in the 1960’s, with a rebellion in what was considered formal and conformist. The hippy movement brought loose-fitting clothes that valued comfort over how one looked on the outside. While most associate the 1970’s with such fashion styles, it was in the 1960’s where such types of style gained popularity.
A few decades later we come to the 1990’s, where fashion has become a mixture of several styles. While there will always be those who value retro styles, the 1990’s brought a mix of many different types of fashion and combined them. Different sects or cliques easily form as a result of one’s taste in fashion. One thing that was always popular was bright colors and usage of pastels in clothing, along with blue jeans and tennis shoes to match.
Today we can enjoy all types of fashions and styles and not be gawked at while walking down the street. Fashion has become so diverse that anyone following the 1970’s movement of fashion would be just as accepted as 1990’s styles of fashion. As diversity grows, the future will likely hold an even wider acceptance of difference and inequality in fashion.
